The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology was established at Sant Parmanand hospital in 1990. Besides management of routine Obstetric and Gynaecology cases, the department specializes in managing patients with unexplained infertility and recurrent spontaneous abortion. The concept of Lymphocyte immune therapy LIT was introduced for the first time in India in this hospital. Though it is not an IVF centre, it specializes in treating patients with recurrent IVF failure by alloimmune aberration correction, to get a success rate of 70-80% in post correction IVF which is beyond comparison to other IVF Centers of the world. The department also specializes in perineal reconstructive surgery. We are proud to have achieved 100% success in managing patients with dygenesis, agenesis & complicated fistulas. |
